Medway Gridiron is very excited to partner with Five Guys in Milford, MA.

On Monday, September 30th, Five Guys has agreed to donate a percentage of all sales from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM to Medway Gridiron to support the the Medway High School Football and Cheer Programs!

If you haven’t had the burgers and fries at Five Guys, you are missing out!

Please pass the word along to family and friends and enjoy a great dinner at Five Guys on Monday, September 30th!.

Hello Mustangs Families:

Welcome to this week’s Pasta Dinner!

The first Pasta Dinner went great!

Thank you to all who volunteered time, donated food and all of the supplies. The kids always love the dinner, and enjoy seeing the Moms and Dads behind the counter serving.

Also a big thank you to the Medway Gridiron for providing Gatorade to the boys in lieu of pasta dinner after a hot game on Saturday. They were much needed, and the team was sincerely appreciative.

As always volunteers are what make this program possible, so I encourage everyone to be involved and have fun!

Here are the details for this week’s Pasta Dinner:

  • When: Thursday, September 26, 2019 @ 6 pm
  • Where: Medway High school

Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity? Are you looking to have some fun while doing it? Look no further than our HS Snack Shack.

We are looking for several volunteers to cover the snack shack during the dates and times noted on the Google Doc Sign Up Sheet

Please note the following:

  • Please update this shared Google Doc with your full name and cell phone number.
  • We are looking for volunteers on 9/28, 10/10 , and 10/30.
  • The Medway Gridiron Organization earns money for the hours we volunteer at the Snack Shack.

My name is Diane Converse and I will be the Pasta Dinner Coordinator for 2019 Season. Here are the details:

Event Description:

  • For those of you new to the program, the tradition of volunteers serving a pasta dinner to the Players, Cheerleaders and Coaches in preparation of the big game has been a weekly event for many years and is greatly appreciated by the teams.
  • A typical pasta dinner will include generous portions of pasta with butter/sauce, lasagna, mac and cheese, garlic bread, salad, milk/water topped off with desserts.
  • We do our best to keep the event fresh by occasionally changing up the menu or having a themed night (i.e. Breakfast for Dinner, former players/cheerleaders serve the teams or the ever popular ice cream night to celebrate the seniors).

Location:

  • The dinners are held in the High School Cafeteria and usually begin immediately after practice at 6:00 pm and run about an hour.(Freshman often have games on Thursdays but have time after the game to attend the pasta dinner)

Sign Up:

A weekly email with a link to Perfect Potluck will be sent out by me on the Sunday prior to the dinner.
This is our sign-up sheet for food/paper products/drinks/desserts and the needs will change weekly.

**+Donations**+:

  • All donations are to be dropped off at the back delivery entrance of the HS cafeteria. Between 5-5:30 pm the evening of the dinner.
  • Food must be delivered in aluminium disposable containers for easy heating.
  • It is preferred that food donations are warm when delivered.

**+Volunteers**+:

  • The program’s success is dependent on the volunteers who make it happen. (As they say, “the more the merrier”)
  • Volunteer Signup will be on the Perfect Potluck link.
  • Volunteers must be 18+
  • Long hair must be tied back and closed toe shoes must be worn.
  • Volunteers are asked to be at the school between 5:15 pm and 5:30 pm.

  • Friday September 13th (Due to game being moved to Saturday)
  • Thursday 9/26
  • Thursday 10/3
  • Thursday 10/10
  • Thursday 10/17
  • Thursday 10/24

NOTE: At this time there is not a dinner planned prior to the 9/21 game at Norwood but will notify you of changes.
