Support The Fight Against Childhood Cancer
To All Gridiron Families:
As you probably know, I am the kicker on Medway High School’s Varsity Football team again this year. And like last year, I have joined hundreds of high school kickers across the country in raising money to help fight childhood cancer!
Over the past three years, I have attended several kicking camps run by an organization called Kohls Professional Kicking Camps. This past summer, I learned that high school kickers all over the country attending these Kicking Showcases, have raised over $5m through the Kick-It organization, which is dedicated to curing childhood cancer. Kick-It is powered by Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), and was founded in 2009 by 10 year old Quinn Clarke during his second battle with cancer.
Through the first 2 games of this season, you may have seen my parents collecting spare change outside the home games as well as at Concessions. Additionally, I will be collecting pledges and donations via the link below, based on the success of the Medway High School Football Team, and more specifically, our Field Goal and PAT unit.
You can do your part and help by clicking on the following web page: https://www.alexslemonade.org/mypage/1903637 and either make a one-time donation or pledge money for each Extra Point, or Field Goal made by our team throughout the season.
As a point of reference, last year, we had 35 total points on special teams. Through 4 games this year, have 12 points (9 extra points and 1 field goal, with a minimum of 4 games remaining).
Thank you in advance for your generosity and I look forward to seeing you all Friday Night!
